This product does not meet the classification of not deemed combustible when tested in accordance with AS1530.1 and is therefore not suitable for use where non-combustible materials are required.

This product is a nominal 7.8mm therefore, it does not meet the 1mm in thickness non-combustible sarking-type material exemptions stated in BCA 2019 Volume 1 Amend. 1 C1.9(e)(vi), BCA 2022 Volume 1 C2D10(6)(f) and BCA 2019 Volume 2 Amend. 1 3.7.1.1(f), BCA 2022 Volume 2 H3D2(1)(f).

When specifying, state the following:
Product Name: Trade Select™ ThermalLiner™

The insulation to be installed shall be Trade Select™ ThermalLiner™  double sided reflective, fibre-free thermo-reflective insulation, comprised of cross-linked, closed-cell core XPE foam with anti-glare foil facing on one side and plain foil facing on the other side. Material R-value is R0.11 and shall be installed in accordance with AS 4200.2:2017 Pliable Building Membranes and Underlays, Part 2: Installation.

Emittance Classification: IR Reflective, IR Reflective
Material Value: R0.11
Vapour Control Classification: Class 1 Vapour Barrier, 0.001 µg/N·s
Water Control Classification: Water Barrier
Duty: Extra Heavy in accordance with AS/NZS 4200.1:2017
